Check whether the issue is live view or recording only
If the camera is visible in live view, the fault is narrower than a full connectivity failure. That usually means you should check schedule, stream mapping, or storage health before chasing cabling.

- Recording schedule disabled or limited
- Wrong stream selected for recording
- Disk missing, full, or unhealthy
- Camera added with unstable credentials
- Channel conflict or intermittent PoE power
